Gibson Dunn Boosts London Team with Key Project Finance Partners from Shearman & Sterling

International law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has strengthened its London base with the addition of two project and infrastructure partners from Shearman & Sterling. The new hires, Ben Shorten and Trinh Chubbock, come in the wake of a string of departures from Shearman & Sterling over recent months across the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Ben Shorten carries with him an impressive history of 23 years as a partner in the project development and finance group at Shearman & Sterling, having recently led the group. Trinh Chubbock also brings a wealth of experience from the same firm.

The personnel changes align with Shearman & Sterling’s ongoing attempts to merge with Allen & Overy.
