Alt Legal Continues Expansion with Acquisition of TM Cloud’s Docketing Business

In its latest strategic move, cloud-based trademark docketing software company Alt Legal has stepped up its game with its fourth acquisition. The company has acquired customers and the docketing business of its competitor, TM Cloud. This acquisition enables Alt Legal to expand its customer base across the United States and globally, including regions such as Europe, Africa, and Australia.

It’s reported that Alt Legal has already notified its new customers from TM Cloud about the change. The company will soon commence the process of migrating these customers to its platform. CEO of Alt Legal, Nehal Madhani, plans to personally communicate with every TM Cloud customer to discuss the transition and address any queries.

The pricing structure for the new customers will remain unchanged at least until the end of the year. Also, they will receive complimentary access to Alt Legal’s Trademark Protection products, designed to monitor customers’ trademarks and alert them to potential violations. Alt Legal is also committed to providing its new customers with free, unlimited training sessions and customer assistance.

This acquisition follows Alt Legal’s previous purchases. The company earlier bought the §2(d) Citation Watch business from Canadian company Towergate Software and acquired the trademark docketing software businesses of MarkTend and Name Warden.

Post the acquisition, TM Cloud will discontinue its docketing product. TM Cloud’s CEO, Lucinda Stevenson, expressed her excitement about transitioning her customers to Alt Legal. Stevenson praised Alt Legal for their customer-centric approach, promising advanced automation and a commitment to innovation. However, she will not be joining Alt Legal.

Over the past three years, Alt Legal has reported the fastest pace of development in its history, resulting in the launch of multiple trademark monitoring products, automated international trademark docketing capabilities, advanced calendar integrations amongst more.
