Flo Recruit Secures $4.2 Million in Funding for Expansion and Product Development

Austin-based legal recruitment and software startup Flo Recruit has confirmed the closure of a successful funding effort, to the tune of $4.2 million. The seed round funds will be directed towards expanding the company’s network among law schools and developing its products further.

LiveOak Venture Partners and Moneta Ventures led the funding round, with further participation from Tau Ventures and Alumni Ventures. According to the official press release, LiveOak Venture Partners are seasoned investors in the realm of legal technology, having previously sunk funds into leading enterprises such as DISCO, a well-known provider of e-discovery solutions, and communication analysis startup LitLingo.

Flo Recruit’s services have proven their utility in the legal industry, especially amid the rise of virtual recruitment during the pandemic. This latest affirming wave of investment provides the necessary capital for the startup to ramp up the expansion of its virtual recruitment tools – a core offering of its platform – to an enlarged customer base that counts numerous law firms and law schools among its ranks.
