Legal technology software startup, Robin AI, has developed a new feature for its generative artificial intelligence assistant, Robin. This new feature is expected to provide legal teams with time-saving advantages by swiftly and efficiently exploring an entire contract repository using a large language model (LLM). This advanced tool represents a significant advancement in AI applications within the legal sector, especially in terms of contract review. Robin AI founders, CEO Richard Robinson, and CTO James Clough, are touting Robin as the first tool to employ generative AI for contract search – a task often notorious for its tediousness among legal professionals.
The AI assistant is expected to free legal professionals from spending long hours on manual work, giving them the opportunity to focus on higher-value work. This innovative tool also promises a better work-life balance for legal practitioners frequently burdened with enormous volumes of contract review. CTO Clough emphasized the tool’s operational capacity stating, “It doesn’t need to be a human brain scanning through hundreds of pages of documents to make sure that there are no spelling errors; that’s something a computer can do.”
