Former Donald Trump attorney, Michael Cohen, is reported to be considering a run for Congress, as he revealed in comments given to Semafor. “I am interested and there’s a multitude of folks encouraging me to run,” he stated. Notably, Cohen, a former Trump loyalist, has turned into a critic of the former president, undergoing a significant public transformation following his disbarment and prison sentence.
Cohen, who previously served as Trump’s personal lawyer, faced disbarment and over a year of prison time for several charges related to his work as Trump’s ‘fixer’. These charges came to light during the investigations surrounding the infamous Stormy Daniels case, and resulted in a 34-count felony indictment against Trump himself.
