Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison’s recent acquisition of talent from Kirkland & Ellis reportedly includes a four-partner team in London, led by private equity expert, Neel Sachdev. The total number of lawyers involved in the transition could well exceed ten, spanning both U.S. and U.K. offices.
In addition to Sachdev, debt finance partner Eric Wedel is confirmed to have made the transition from Kirkland to Paul Weiss. Wedel, a seasoned professional with 17 years of experience at Kirkland, across both New York and Los Angeles offices, is expected to be accompanied by a team of three to four partners.
Moreover, M&A partner Roger Johnson is also predicted to join the recent shift from Kirkland to Paul Weiss.
