New York Tops List for Approachable Lawyers According to Uplift Legal Funding Study

A new report from Uplift Legal Funding unveils an interesting perspective on the geography of the US legal profession. By assigning each state a score out of 10 based on a variety of factors, it seeks to determine which states offer conditions in which lawyers are the least stressed, overworked, or underpaid. They derived these scores considering variables such as job prospects, cost and quality of college education, academic success rate, degree affordability, cost of living, as well as the emotional well-being and occupational stress levels.

According to this grading scale, New York surprisingly emerged at the pinnacle, suggesting it may house some of the most ‘approachable’ lawyers.
