Expanding on their English law presence, Cravath Swaine & Moore has welcomed two new additions to their London-based team: London counsel, Chantelle Dovey and Helen Walsh. Both counsel members have made a transition to the firm from Shearman & Sterling, with their affiliations taking place in May and June respectively, according to details found on their LinkedIn and website profiles.
Dovey and Walsh are both listed on the Cravath website as European Counsel possessing extensive expertise in finance matters. Additionally, they are noted as being qualified to practice in England and Wales, a claim that Cravath’s UK ranks lacked for a half-century before 2023.
Earlier in the year, the firm had made its debut in its English Law offering with the hire of Shearman duo Korey Fevzi and Philip Stopford.
