Ince Group Insolvency Reveals £2 Million Owed to Partners and Barristers

Recent documents compiled by Quantuma, the company overseeing the administration of the previously listed Ince Group, have divulged that the insolvent law firm owes more than £2 million to its present and past partners. Additionally, considerable sums are due to high-ranking barristers who collaborated with the firm. This finance crisis has left many professionals in unfortunate circumstances. Ince’s former head of corporate even described the firm’s downfall as the result of “unprofessional behaviour” like he had never seen before.

The outstanding debt list of Ince also extends to government bodies. According to the report, HM Revenue & Customs is part of the firm’s list of creditors, being owed £3,121,337.

Drilling down further into the details of the claimants, approximately thirty present and former lawyers of Ince are categorised as ‘company creditors’. This group combined, is owed a total of £2,058,442.94.
