Opperman, well known and respected within the insolvency and workouts legal circles, has previously held leadership positions within the firm’s restructuring, insolvency practice group, and broader finance practice area, according to a statement from K&L Gates.
Former leader Nick Nichola, who has guided the firm’s Australian practice for over 18 years, will continue his association with K&L Gates as a partner.
