London-based governmental body Transport for London (TfL) and wealth management conglomerate Lombard International have chosen to extend their current legal panel contracts. TfL, the entity governing the majority of London’s transport network, has reportedly decided to extend its panel for two more years. This decision comes with the panel framework last reviewed in 2019 and originally slated for renewal this May.
During the 2019 revision, TfL compressed its panel of 15 firms down to 11, leading to the removal of firms like Simmons & Simmons and Lewis Silkin. As part of this extension, firms including Ashurst, Eversheds Sutherland, and Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) will retain their positions on TfL’s panel for up to two additional years.
