The survey involved interviewing 72 in-house counsels from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Spain. These attorneys representing industries such as consumer goods, finance, and technology collectively spend a significant portion of their working hours on contracts. The noted disparity in turnaround time expectations for these contracts led to the identified tensions internally within the corporations they serve.
