Innovative Startups Steal the Spotlight at ILTACON 2023: Exclusive Insights from 12 Legal Tech Founders

Live from Orlando, Florida, the International Legal Technology Association’s annual conference, ILTACON, is a vibrant mix of old and new as industry mainstays rub shoulders with innovative startups.

This year’s conference once more featured a Startup Hub, where 27 new legal tech startups set up shop to showcase their innovations. Although it was impossible to reach all within the given time frame, I seized the opportunity to conduct a series of brief, yet insightful interviews with 12 startups that particularly caught my attention. The 12 chosen startups for these interviews include:

  • Aiden Technologies, with CEO and cofounder Joshua Aaron.
  • Legatics, represented by CEO Anthony Seale.
  • DeepJudge, with the insights of cofounder and CTO Yannic Kilcher.
  • DraftWise, delving into the mission with CEO and cofounder James Ding.
  • Capacity, via the words of cofounder William Dougherty.
  • Syntheia, canvased by CEO and founder Horace Wu and director of customer success Paul Farrell.
  • Insights from Priviom courtesy of CEO and cofounder Noah Wittman.
  • CiteRight, shared by cofounder and chief customer officer Ariel Nacson in conjunction with Colin LaChance, CEO of Jurisage Inc.
  • Dashboard Legal, elucidated by cofounder and CEO Mat Rotenberg.
  • The vision of BoostDraft as expounded by CEO and cofounder Yohei Fujii.
  • Organizing4Innovation, guided by founder and CEO Floor Blindenbach.
  • Henchman, narrated from the perspective of its head of product, Julien Steel.

In the coming episode, I will focus on featuring interviews with some of the more established legal tech companies that made their presence felt at ILTACON 2023. If you enjoy following our coverage of the event, kindly leave us a review on our platform.
