Venable, a renowned legal firm, has announced that Daniel Hayes has joined the company as a partner in its Chicago office. Hayes will be part of the investigations and white collar defense practice team. As reported, the news was confirmed by the firm on Tuesday.
Before his transition to Venable, Hayes held significant positions with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He served as supervisory trial counsel and senior trial counsel, and most recently as co-head of the trial unit of the SEC’s Chicago Regional Office.
In his role at Venable, Hayes is expected to represent clients in government enforcement actions and investigations, internal corporate investigations, securities class actions, and other business disputes. This addition to Venable’s team further solidifies its stance as a strong force in legal practice.
