Nominations are now open for the annual Professional Excellence Awards in Texas, celebrating the exceptional work and accomplishments of the Texas Lawyer legal community. This year features a more focused awards selection, with three main categories up for nomination.
The first is the “Attorney of the Year” accolade, which recognizes an individual who has had a substantial impact on the law or the Texas legal community, or who has greatly advanced the cause of justice. To nominate a candidate for this award, please follow this link and include a high-resolution color photo of your candidate.
The second category is the “Lifetime Achievement Awards”. This award pays tribute to any living individual who has left an enduring legacy on the Texas legal community. For the nomination, provide a brief overview of the nominee’s contributions, a Q&A from the nominee and a high-resolution color photo here.
The third award is “On the Rise” and it invites nominations for lawyers under the age of 40 who have significantly influenced their practice areas in Texas and beyond. Candidates should be innovators, showing expertise in litigation, in-house or transactional work, and have committed to pro bono, charitable and professional volunteer work. A high-resolution color photo and date of birth of the nominee are required for submission here.
