After nearly two years of litigation, a lawsuit that was originally filed against Yale University, Yale Law School Dean Heather Gerken, and two other defendants by a pair of law students has been voluntarily dismissed. The initial filing was made by two law students in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in November 2021.
The students alleged that they were targeted by Gerken and other law school administrators for refusing to support a complaint against a professor at the law school, Amy Chua.
