EPA Announces 2023 Safer Choice Awards and Partner Summit: Promoting Eco-friendly Practices

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recently announced significant events for 2023 — the Safer Choice Partner of the Year Awards Ceremony and the Partner and Stakeholder Summit. The former is slated for October 2, 2023, while the latter will be held over two days, from October 3 to October 4, 2023.

The announcement was made public on September 7, 2023. Both events are set to highlight and reward environmental good practices that contribute to the safety of not just the United States, but the world at large.

The EPA is an important body known globally for its stringent environmental regulations. Over the years, the agency has continued to advocate strongly for better environmental practices, drawing the line on harmful human activities that trigger deleterious climatic conditions.

The Safer Choice Partner of the Year Awards is essentially a recognition platform for stakeholders who have made significant contributions to safer products and practices. This initiative is aimed at encouraging more individuals, corporations and organisations to join the drive in adopting eco-friendly strategies.

The Partner and Stakeholder Summit, on the other hand, serves as a meeting point for key persons to deliberate on pressing environmental matters. Over the course of two days, dialogue and ideation for new strategies and improvements on existing practices will take place.

The twin events represent the Government’s resilient commitment to creating a safer global community. They are also a clear indication of its intention to make more individuals and corporate entities partners in its drive to protect Mother Earth.

Registration for both the Awards Ceremony and the Summit have been officially declared open, setting the stage for yet another round of action in the environmental sector.
