Winston & Strawn Prepares for Leadership Shift with Steve D’Amore as Successor

Winston & Strawn is set for a leadership change for the first time in nearly two decades. The Am Law 50 firm is paving the path for its litigation leader, Steve D’Amore, currently the global co-leader of Winston & Strawn’s litigation department, to take over as the chair. This transition is scheduled to take place in June of 2024, with D’Amore replacing current firm leader, Tom Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald has been leading the firm for the past 17 years, playing an instrumental role in bringing the company’s worth over the $1 billion mark and expanding its operations over four continents.
