In a laudable jury verdict rendered by a federal court in Marshall, Texas, Austin-based tech giant, Atlas Global Technologies LLC successfully bagged a $37.5 million victory in a patent infringement lawsuit against Chinese firm, TP-Link Technologies Co. Ltd.
The legal battle concluded last week with the jury agreeing that TP-Link Technologies Co. Ltd. and its associates had infringed Atlas Global’s five patents relating to Wi-Fi 6, an industry standard for wireless routers.
Max Tribble from Susman Godfrey, the lead attorney for Atlas Global, expressed that this outcome resonates a strong message. Declaring that Atlas is decidedly intent upon adamantly defending its patents which bear a significant role in the evolution of modern Wi-Fi standards, Tribble conveyed the firm’s satisfaction with the jury’s decision.
