Following this decision, a separate lawsuit has been lodged in California state court against 7-Eleven, Botanic Tonics, along with other distributors of the substance. These organizations are implicated in the promotion and sale of a kava drink known as “Feel Free Wellness Tonic.” The product is marketed as a safe, non-addictive, and healthier substitute for alcohol.
