Major, Lindsey & Africa Trims Advisory Services Team Amid Strategic Refocus

With an aim to refine the focus of their service line, global recruiting firm Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) is set to cut positions within its advisory services division. According to insiders, as many as five employees—three managing directors and two other professionals—could be facing redundancy by the end of the month as a consequence of this strategy shift.

Interestingly, despite the cutting of positions, a spokesperson from MLA conveyed that the firm isn’t looking to exit the advisory services space all together, but instead is strategizing a “refocusing to a more tailored advisory offering.” Such offerings will include services such as coaching, advising and on-boarding.

More details about the changes within MLA as a consequence of this strategic shift can be accessed within this recent article published on Law.com.
