Drew Network Asia Expands Legal Presence with Tilleke & Gibbins Integration

Drew Network Asia (DNA), an enterprise established by prominent law firms such as Drew & Napier from Singapore, Indonesian firm Makarim & Taira S., and Malaysian entity Shearn Delamore & Co., has announced their network’s expansion with the integration of Thai firm Tilleke & Gibbins. Originated in 2020, the network has slowly but steadily extended its influence across Asia.

With the inclusion of the Bangkok-based firm, Tilleke & Gibbins, the DNA now spans across nine countries, boasts over 800 lawyers within Southeast Asia and demonstrates an increased presence in the regional legal scene. DNA member firms work as preferred local advisors to each other, although they are not bound to an exclusive partnership. They function synchronously on a multitude of matters across numerous regions including, but not limited to, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Despite this expansion, it is crucial to note that the approach adopted by the DNA is non-exclusive in nature, meaning member firms are not restricted to working solely within the confines of the network. Each firm possesses the autonomy to advise and collaborate with external entities, fostering a flexible operating environment.
