EEOC Seeks Public Input on Proposed Pregnant Workers Fairness Act Regulations

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has recently proposed a set of regulations otherwise referred to as the “Proposed Rule.” The regulations aim to implement the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). The PWFA tasks employers with providing accommodations, which are reasonable, for conditions that occur in addition to pregnancy, childbirth, and related medical conditions.
