Clio Announces Product Updates and Enhancements at Annual Cloud Conference

Legal practice management firm Clio unveiled a series of product announcements at its recent annual Clio Cloud Conference in Nashville. In addition to these, Clio also spotlighted numerous updates and improvements to its existing offerings, as noted in a detailed report on lawNext.

The updates announced for Clio Grow, Clio’s client intake, and client relationship management software included automated workflows which will enable users to automate their intake process. Moreover, Clio Grow has integrated Google’s Local Services Ads and included automated text messaging, thereby enhancing communications with prospective clients.

A range of updates were also announced for Clio Manage, the most widely-used cloud-based legal practice management software in the legal industry. These include Kanban-style visual boards known as Matter Stages, the introduction of Matter Templates, the ability to send emails directly from Clio Manage, and the availability of the Clio for Clients portal in Spanish. Other updates included enhanced functionality in its mobile app, the ability to accept payments from clients using Apple Pay and Google Pay, and a mobile tap-to-pay solution.

Updates were also unveiled for Lawyaw, Clio’s document automation software, including Lawyaw Questionnaires. Clio also stated that they have established an exclusive technology partnership with the New York State Bar Association to service Surrogate Court form products, and in early 2024 will offer members access to NYSBA recommended forms and templates.
