Deloitte Legal, the legal arm of the professional services firm Deloitte, has experienced a significant increase in revenue in the U.K. by more than 20%, according to insiders reported by Law.com. Last week, firmwide results revealed that Deloitte’s broader tax and legal business had generated £1.21 billion in the 12 months up to May 2023, representing a 9% growth compared to the previous year. However, Deloitte Legal has seen revenue growth more than twice this percentage, outpacing the majority of U.K’s Top 50 firm’s growth in the last financial year.
In addition to the strong financial performance, Deloitte Legal’s total lawyer headcount in the U.K. has also seen an increase, positioning it comparable to some of the U.K.’s Top 50 law firms.
