Ex-FTX Executive Reveals Strained Relationship with CEO Sam Bankman-Fried

Nishad Singh, an ex-executive at FTX, has uncovered a troubled connection with the firm’s CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), which reportedly led to a period of “severe emotional distress” for Singh. Singh alleges that this distress escalated following accusations from parties within the company, attributing a portion of the blame for FTX’s downfall to Singh. Daniel Friedberg, FTX’s former chief regulatory officer, was amongst those who levelled accusations against Singh.

The relationship between Singh and SBF has been depicted as challenging, with Singh claiming he was left feeling “humiliated” at times. Singh was the third member of SBF’s inner circle to testify against him.

This development comes in the wake of FTX’s reported failure, which Singh claims he initially discovered when he learned about a significant $8 billion deficit in the company’s balance sheet.
