Crumbley, a former lead administrative judge at the United States Patent & Trademark Office’s Patent Trial & Appeal Board (PTAB), has recently taken a position at Bracewell, based out of their Austin, Texas location. Offering a wealth of patent law insight, Crumbley’s addition to the team was formally announced early this week.
Armed with over twenty years of experience in patent law, Crumbley’s entrance is a significant addition to Bracewell’s intellectual property litigation team. Prior to his tenure at PTAB, Crumbley spent approximately ten years as a trial attorney within the intellectual property section of the Justice Department’s Civil Division.
His experience and leadership qualities, alongside his attention to detail, position Crumbley as an asset to the Bracewell team. His transition into the private sector is regarded as a significant move, bringing his significant governmental patent law experience to a commercial setting.
