Massachusetts Governor Nominates Four Distinguished Attorneys to State Court Seats

Massachusetts Governor Maura T. Healey recently announced the nomination of four attorneys to serve in the state’s courts. Three attorneys, Adam L. Sisitsky, Tracy E. Duncan, and Michael Pineault, have been nominated to serve as associate justices of the Superior Court, while a fourth, Audrey Carr Murillo, has been nominated to serve at the Juvenile Court level.

Sisitsky and Duncan received their nominations from the governor earlier this month. In announcing their nominations, Governor Healey brought particular attention to the unique attributes and experiences each brings to the table.

Pineault and Murillo were identified as new nominees last week, with Juvenile Court nominee Murillo being praised for her knowledge of the juvenile system and commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in Massachusetts. Pineault, a new Superior Court associate justice nominee, was commended for his dedication to public service and to upholding the rule of law.

The Governor expressed her excitement over nominating these distinguished attorneys, publicly acknowledging their respective contributions and thanking the Governor’s Council for considering their nominations for the state court seats. More information about these nominations is available here.
