In response to the high demand for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services in Florida, the law firm Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine has established a new practice group dedicated to ADR. As parties involved in litigation become more inclined to pursue meditative methods to solve disputes, Kluger Kaplan is keen on meeting the growing needs in this area.
Comprising former circuit Judge Ronald Dresnick, counsel Diane Katzen, shareholder Jason Marks, partner Terri Meyers and shareholder Abbey Kaplan, who will be the leader of the group, this team brings a wealth of expertise in meditative procedures. Each member of the group will take up the role of mediator in dispute resolution proceedings, facilitating timely and effective settlement negotiation. Read more about the team here.
Observing the shift in litigation culture, Abbey Kaplan said of the evolving state of dispute resolution: “ADR is becoming more vibrant,”. Kaplan pointed out the trend among parties to prefer resolving cases before they reach court trials, which he believes has implications for the future of large-scale trials and how younger lawyers engage with the practice.
We await seeing the impact this new practice group will have on the growing demand for ADR services in Florida and potentially influence the litigation landscape.
