The National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) has delayed the termination of the current bar exam from July 2027 until the February 2028 administration. The NextGen exam is also expected to have an expanded content base, set to include family law questions. As the legal landscape evolves and grows in complexity, so too must the bar exams to produce qualified and competent legal practitioners. The inclusion of family law in the NextGen exam reflects this ethos.
