Latham & Watkins Boosts Gender Diversity in 2023 Partner Class: Progress Amid Big Law Firms

Latham & Watkins, the second highest-grossing firm in the Am Law 100, announced the induction of 34 new partners, fewer than the 44 appointed during the past two years. Despite this advancement and the fact that six of the new partners are based in London, Latham & Watkins’ proportion of women in the new partner class still lags behind some of its competitors. Strikingly, up to 78 Big Law firms have achieved parity this year – designating as many women as men to their partner ranks.
