Over 100 esteemed law firms have taken a stance against the disturbing rise in antisemitic incidents, with firms including Hogan Lovells, White & Case, and Goodwin Procter, adding their names to a letter addressed to law school deans. The initiative, initially led by Joseph C. Shenker, senior chair of Sullivan & Cromwell, compels for a response against the sharp increase in antisemitism noted on their campuses. Akshay Verma, formerly associated with Meta Platforms Inc. and Coinbase as legal operations director has taken up the role of chief operating officer at SpotDraft, a contract lifecycle management software company. While at Coinbase, Verma played a key role in setting up the legal operations function of the cryptocurrency company back in April 2022.

Arnold & Porter, Crowell & Moring, and Cleary Gottlieb rank among the firms contributing to this resurgence, reflecting a growing nationwide support for the provision of legal aid to individuals facing eviction.
