Law firm Kirkland & Ellis has recently confirmed the addition of Matthew Howard, a distinguished professional specializing in alternative investment vehicles, as a partner in its investment funds group. Kirkland & Ellis announced the move on Wednesday.
Howard, previously from Fried Frank, has earned a name in the sector with his focus on structuring alternative investment vehicles. His clientele primarily includes investors with interests across various asset classes—buyouts, credit, real estate, infrastructure, and energy, as noted by Kirkland.
In addition to these, he also brings to the table experience with employee investment vehicles, management company arrangements, and carried interest plans. His expertise will further strengthen Kirkland’s investment funds group, a vital part of the firm’s services.
