Retired Weil Gotshal & Manges partner Joe Tortorici, known for successfully establishing many of the firm’s European offices, has taken up a new role at global recruitment company Major Lindsey & Africa. This change of direction was publicised by Major Lindsey earlier this month. Tortorici’s new role comes after retiring from Weil’s partnership back in June 2020. At Major Lindsey, he will provide advisory guidance to law firms serviced by MLA’s partner practice group that are looking to grow their operations in Europe.
During his time at Weil, Tortorici made significant contributions towards building the firm’s presence in both Europe and later in the Middle East.
