David Holmberg has recently become a new partner with the global tax practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) in New York. This development was officially announced by the firm on Monday. Holmberg previously worked at Akin Gump and has a specialized focus on private equity real estate, direct lending, and distressed strategies.
According to BCLP, Holmberg consistently offers expert advice on the tax elements of several key areas such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, debt workouts, and restructurings. In addition to these areas, he also holds extensive experience with both public and private REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) and cross-border engagements.
Bloomberg Tax reported this news, stating that David Holmberg’s move to BCLP strengthens the firm’s global tax practice, particularly within the New York region.
