In an official declaration made by the law firm, Slaughter and May has increased its newly-qualified (NQ) solicitor pay to £125,000. This rise is a noteworthy step up from the previous £115,000. The new changes are slated to take effect from the 1st of November.
The bolstered wage offering by Slaughter and May now aligns it with other elite United Kingdom law firms. For instance, firms such as Clifford Chance and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer already updated their pay to the same amount earlier in February 2022.
