The group’s revenue soared by nearly 600%, raising $44 million in 2022, a stark rise from its $6 million in 2021, according to recent tax filings. This expansion coincides with the group’s intensified legal actions against various institutions it refers to as “woke” and “radical”.
Activities have revolved around lawsuits and complaints against corporations, school districts, leading law firms, and other establishments. Some of the contentious issues at the center of these legal actions include diversity in hiring procedures, transgender rights, immigration policies, and the legal affairs of former President Donald Trump.
The primary source of America First Legal’s revenue growth comes from its deepening involvement in such litigations. The group’s 2022 financial performance underscores the persistent influence of Trump’s political and ideological agenda.
