KL Partners, the South Korean joint venture firm of global international law firm Baker McKenzie, has recently made a pivotal hire to fortify its dispute resolution practice. The new addition to their team is David Kim, a seasoned international arbitration lawyer who formerly held the position of a senior foreign attorney at the Big Six Korean firm, Lee & Ko.
This new hire marks their first partnership appointment since KL Partners, an international dispute resolution firm based in Seoul, entered into a joint venture with Baker McKenzie in October earlier this year. Established in 2015, KL Partners was the brainchild of multiple ex-partners from another big six legal firm, Shin & Kim.
