A spokesperson for Duke Law revealed that the funds, allocated for both current use and endowment, are destined to support the operation of the twelve in-house clinics that the law school runs. These clinics provide practical learning while addressing the unmet legal needs of North Carolinians.
About 60% of students at Duke Law School choose to enlist in at least one clinic or externship during their tenure at the institution. The versatility of these clinics is noteworthy, covering practice areas as broad as health law, entrepreneurship, wrongful convictions, and immigration.
