MyCase Unveils Public API for Enhanced Integration, Simplifies LawPay Reconciliation

In a bid to enhance data-sharing and streamline its customer’s workflows, the law practice management company MyCase has unveiled a public API that allows easier integration with third-party software. This development is a significant move for MyCase as it grants its customers the capacity to expand their software applications with increased interoperability across multiple systems.

The newly introduced API allows MyCase customers an enhanced ability to connect their suite of apps to the MyCase platform, a move that, according to the company, will enable better case organization, more effortless sharing of data across platforms, and the complete automation of workflow processes.

However, access to the API is available only to those subscribed to MyCase’s Advanced subscription tier. This package is priced at $89 per month, but it comes with the perk of access to certified consultants ready to aid customers with API implementations. Detailed instructions on setting up and making use of the newly released API can be found here.

Apart from the public API, MyCase also announced two new additions focused on accepting payments via LawPay, the digital payments platform owned by AffiniPay, the parent company of MyCase. The new features include the reconciliation of LawPay payments and the ability to recharge cards on file.

  • The reconciliation feature: This will allow attorneys to bring simplicity to their reconciliation process without plowing through loads of data manually.
  • The ability to recharge cards on file: This creates a seamless payment experience for recurring clients, who won’t need to provide sensitive information each time they receive a bill.

In conclusion, the introduction of these product enhancements aims to maintain billing accuracy and ensure that lawyers retain a competitive edge in an increasingly digitized market.
