MyCase Unveils Public API for Seamless Third-Party Integration and Enhanced LawPay Features

The law practice management company MyCase recently released a public API (application programming interface) for simpler integration with third-party software. This new development will streamline the sharing of data across various systems and allow for smoother collaboration between different software applications. It also announced the addition of two new features related to accepting payments through LawPay, the electronic payments platform owned by MyCase’s parent company, AffiniPay.

Access to the new API is limited to MyCase’s Advanced subscription tier members, priced at $89 a month. Nevertheless, MyCase ensures that certified consultants are at hand to offer implementation assistance to customers. Extensive documentation on how to set up and properly use the API has been provided by the company, and can be accessed here.

Furthermore, with regards to the newly announced features for LawPay, MyCase has added the capacity for reconciliation of LawPay payments and the ability to recharge cards on file. These features are aimed at simplifying the reconciliation process for lawyers, allowing them to charge previously billed clients without re-requesting sensitive information.

According to the company, these enhancements will not only ensure billing accuracy but also help lawyers stay competitive in an increasingly digital market.
