For years, the name Kenneth Frazier has been synonymous with excellence in the legal profession. Hailing from a humble background in North Philadelphia where his father worked as a janitor, Frazier’s journey to the apex of the corporate world is noteworthy. His academic path led him from Penn State University to Harvard Law School, establishing a strong foundation for his future career.
Transitioning from his initial role as a trial lawyer, Frazier moved into the corporate sphere, securing a position at one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. In due course, he ascended to the topmost positions, becoming its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. This status marked a significant milestone as he emerged as the first Black man to serve as a CEO of a major pharmaceutical company.
