KPMG UK General Counsel Steps Down Following Carillion Dispute Resolution

Jeremy Barton, the U.K. General Counsel for KPMG, one of the Four Big accounting firms, recently announced his decision to step down from his position. Barton has played a lead role in the organization’s legal team for the past eight years. His decision to depart comes largely as a result of the firm closing a significant litigation matter.
