Khaitan & Co, the largest law firm in India, has opened a new location in Ahmedabad. This expansion comes with the acquisition of Atman Desai, a returning partner from rival company Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM). Previously an associate based in Mumbai for Khaitan, Desai moved to CAM in 2012 before recently returning to Khaitan to join their energy, infrastructure, and resources practice group (Law.com) .
In related news, new litigators have joined firms Dentons Rodyk and Rajah & Tann in Singapore. Regrettably, details remain scarce due to a paywall.
