On Monday, it was announced that Mark Krotoski will be joining Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman as a new partner, based in Silicon Valley, California. Mr. Krotoski will take the helm of the cyber disputes team, the law firm reported.
Mark Krotoski comes to Pillsbury from Morgan Lewis, bringing a rich background in both antitrust cartel investigations and white-collar defense. His unique skill set makes him an asset in the evolving landscape of cyber law.
Before his tenure at Morgan Lewis, Krotoski served in several significant roles within the federal government. He was a federal prosecutor and also served as the national coordinator of the computer hacking and intellectual property program within the criminal division of the Justice Department. Further, Krotoski held notable positions such as assistant chief of the national criminal enforcement section within the DOJ’s antitrust division and chief of the criminal division in the US Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California.
