Renowned Energy and Infrastructure Lawyer Mona Dajani Joins Baker Botts

Mona Dajani, a highly experienced and specialist energy and infrastructure lawyer, has joined Baker Botts as a partner, based in the New York office, the firm announced earlier this week as reported.

In her new role at Baker Botts, Dajani will serve as the global co-chair of energy infrastructure and hydrogen. Besides, she will also be the co-chair of the energy sector for the firm.

Dajani brings with her a wealth of experience, having represented blue-chip clients and contributed significantly to the successful execution of energy, sustainability, and infrastructure deals. Her portfolio extends to syndicated loan and debt capital markets transactions, sustainable finance, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) matters. She has also shown her expertise in water and transportation projects and has been instrumental in arranging capital for energy and infrastructure companies.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Dajani served at Shearman & Sterling, holding multiple leadership positions such as global head of renewables, global head of energy and infrastructure (projects), head of the hydrogen and ammonia practice (Americas), and co-head of the US energy team. Her record now serves as proof of her well-rounded experience which Baker Botts seeks to leverage.
