Legal Holiday Card Contest Showcases Creativity and Generosity in the Industry

As Hanukkah is here and Christmas is nearly upon us, legal professionals everywhere are also preparing for the New Year. Now is the time that Above The Law has revealed the seven finalists for their fifteenth annual holiday card contest. But before delving into the finalists, some honorable mentions were given.

Armond Wilson, Diaz Trade Law, and Patterson Belknap each received a mention for their creative and humoristic approach to holiday greetings. Particularly Patterson Belknap, who not only made a New York-themed card but also decided to make donations to NYC’s Coalition for the Homeless and Children’s Aid.

The seven finalists were also highly creative and consisted in alphabetical order of Butler Snow, Davis Wright Tremaine, Faegre Drinker, Falcon Rappaport & Berkman, Larson • King, McBrayer, and Rakower Law.

Butler Snow offered a humorous behind-the-scenes look at the creation of firm’s holiday card, while Davis Wright Tremaine head to a remote lake in Alaska for its stunning card creation. Faegre Drinker went for a tech themed-idea, humorous look at AI and its role in holiday card creation, whereas Falcon Rappaport & Berkman opted for a completely digital holiday card token. Larson King leaned into their Minnesota roots, as did McBrayer with their Kentucky roots, while Rakower Law’s card offered an impressive cameo appearance and a choice for a charitable donation recipient.

The vote is now open for legal professionals to pick their favorite from these choices here. The voting will remain open through until Sunday, December 31, 2021, giving readers ample time to select their choice.
