Elliott Portnoy has served as the Global CEO of Dentons for over a decade. His decision not to seek another three-year term after his current tenure expires in November 2024 marks the nearing end of an important era for the firm. “Serving as Global CEO and as one of the founders of Dentons has been a source of immense privilege and pride as we built the world’s largest and leading global law firm,” said Portnoy.
According to the same release, the company has initiated a process to select a successor who will lead the firm in the post-Portnoy era. Over the next year, Portnoy will be actively involved with Dentons’ global governing bodies to facilitate a smooth transition of leadership within the firm.
