Polsinelli’s Financial Growth in 2023: Resilience Amid Slower Year

In a seemingly slower year, well-known law firm Polsinelli has made noticeable steps towards hitting their billion-dollar revenue mark in 2023. According to preliminarily financial reports by American Lawyer, the firm increased its top line by 7.5%, and raised its net income and profits per partner by approximately 13%.

The Kansas City-based establishment generated more than $856 million in revenue and averaged over $1.9 million in profits per equity partner, as its equity ranks sustained stability. The revenue per lawyer also saw an increase, rising by 4% to $889,000. This is in conjunction with the rise in the firm’s full-time equivalent lawyer count, which went up by 3% to 963, marking an impressive year-end on October 31.

Despite hiring less and having a comparatively light annual performance, Polsinelli’s financial growth serves as a testament to its resilience and commanding presence in the legal sector.
