Georgia’s Top Legal Executives See Compensation Boost Post-Pandemic

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, chief legal officers at Georgia’s top public corporations, colloquially referred to as “the all-stars,” witnessed their compensation packages rebound in both 2021 and 2022 following a significant dip, according to data collated by the Daily Report affiliate ALM Intelligence.

The analysis, based on the SEC filings of each public company, highlighted that the top-earning executives in these corporations managed to not only meet but also exceed their bonus and equity targets. This financial performance is attributed to the fact that numerous companies enjoyed a prolific year in 2022, paralleling the economic recovery from the effects of the pandemic.

Commenting on the matter, Bob Graff, an Atlanta-based in-house recruiter and a partner with Major, Lindsey & Africa, noted that the fortitude shown in the stock market last year underpinned this corporate financial success. Consequently, the financial prospects of these legal professionals in Georgia stayed strong, despite the global economic predicament.
